The OST Front Battle 2007 was fought at Camp Red Devil Ft Carson Colorado. Camp Red Devil is an actual US Army Training Site. The Regiment was fortunate to use this area and on this particular occasion we got to use both sides of the area that leads down to the bridge. The objective is to defend or take the bridge. NOT an easy task since the ground near the bridge is in the open. Needless to say it is possible to take the bridge if you have the right tactics. The pictures indicate the surroundging area from the some of the photos that lend one to believe there is white stuff in the surrounding hills and foot hills that make up the front range of the Colorado Rocky mountians. The white stuff is snow. It was cold during this battle with temps in town down to 11 degrees and light snow on the ground. The battle area got little or no snow and was gone by 1000hrs that day. |
